Annie-Claude has been a cornerstone of the Infectious Diseases community at the Université de Montréal and the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) since 2002. Her extensive experience and expertise in microbiology and infectious diseases are evident through her numerous roles, including her current position as the Chief of the Infectious Diseases Division at HMR and her role as a Professor at the Université de Montréal. One of Annie-Claude’s most significant contributions is her unwavering commitment to mentorship. She has consistently demonstrated extraordinary effort in guiding and supporting her mentees. Dr. Labbé has stimulated excellence in clinical care by fostering a culture of rigorous scientific inquiry and compassionate patient care. Her mentorship has been instrumental in promoting and encouraging activities in global health, as evidenced by her involvement in international research projects and her support for students and fellows working in global health settings.
