Emily Wiesenthal is a third-year resident in UBC’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology program. She has a BA (Hons)in Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Victoria. Her research interests are grounded in community-driven health advocacy work, and include reproductive justice, gender equity in medical education, infectious disease and harm reduction. Her project is titled “Improving RSV Immunization Uptake in Pregnancy in Northern British Columbia: A Knowledge Translation Project”
