The Canadian Foundation for Infectious Diseases is forging partnerships to ensure that research to help understand, prevent, control and treat infectious diseases continues. By finding the resources to fund the research efforts of investigators in the field of infectious diseases, such as members of AMMI Canada and CHICA-Canada, the Foundation is helping to protect the good health of Canadians and people worldwide.

AMMI Canada

AMMI Canada is the national association that represents physicians, clinical microbiologists and researchers specializing in the fields of medical microbiology and infectious diseases. Through promotion of the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of human infectious diseases and by our involvement in education, research, clinical practice and advocacy, AMMI Canada aims to serve and educate the public and also to enhance the career opportunities of its members through professional development and advocacy initiatives.

CHICA-Canada

CHICA-Canada is a national multidisciplinary association committed to the wellness and safety of Canadians by promoting best practice in infection prevention and control through education, standards, advocacy and consumer awareness.
